Below is a list of resources where you can buy local, seasonal produce and support our food producers. Food is not only about the individual elements that you put in your mouth, it is also about health, wellness, livelihoods, biodiversity, the environment, activism, politics, and economy. You can make a difference by voting with your money, cutting out the middle man who takes all the money, and finding good, clean, fair food that has not been tampered with.
Buying local, organic or ecological doesn't need to be expensive as you will see from the links below, and since you aren't going into the supermarket, it stops you buying all the extra unhealthy foods that you don't really need.
This list is not exhaustive, it is still evolving, so please feel free to email me with local food producers to add onto it.
The list is focused on providing information for people living in the Glasgow area.
